• Water Test Kits: Ammonia and nitrate kits for monitoring water quality.

• Live Fish & Plants: Aquatic animals and plants sold subject to availability and safe transport conditions.

• Pet Food & Fish Food: Consumables for pets and aquatic species.

• Aquariums & Equipment: Tanks, air pumps, and accessories.

• Product descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge, but minor variations may occur.

 

4. Ordering & Payment

• We accept major payment methods as displayed at checkout.

• Prices include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Dry Goods (ornaments, kits, food, equipment): Standard courier services.

  • Live Fish & Plants: Special handling and delivery to ensure welfare.

• Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.

• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.​

 

6. Live Fish & Plant Policy

​

• Live fish and plants are shipped under strict welfare standards in line with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and relevant DEFRA guidance.

• Customers must ensure they have a suitable environment ready before delivery.

• We cannot guarantee survival after delivery due to factors outside our control (e.g., water quality, handling).

• Refunds are only offered if fish or plants arrive dead or damaged, with photographic evidence provided within 24 hours.

 

7. Returns & Refunds

• Dry Goods (ornaments, kits, food, equipment): Returns accepted within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, provided items are unused and in original packaging.

• Live Fish & Plants: Returns are not accepted due to animal welfare concerns.

• Refunds are processed within 14 business days after approval.

 

8. Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure correct address and contact details are provided.

• Ensure proper aquarium setup before introducing live fish or plants.

• Follow product instructions carefully to avoid harm to fish, pets, or equipment.

• Comply with local laws regarding the keeping of aquatic species.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

• Jaydee Aquatics and Pets is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use.

• Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

 

10. Intellectual Property

• All content on our website (logos, text, images) is owned by Jaydee Aquatics and Pets and may not be reproduced without permission.
