What is the Evolution Aqua VariPump?
The Evolution Aqua VariPump range comprises three premium pond pumps engineered for adjustable flow rates and powerful performance. Suitable for wildlife ponds through to large Koi installations, these units span from the 75W VP10 delivering 10,000 lph maximum flow, to the 450W VP30 reaching 30,000 lph. All models feature 5mm solids-handling capacity, digital control box, A-grade efficiency rating, and a two-year warranty.
Use these pumps to circulate water to filters, water features, or simply enhance pond circulation. They excel as filter pumps and pair seamlessly with pond filtration systems to maintain optimal water quality year-round.

Why Choose Variable Flow Pumps?
Adjustable flow pumps deliver significant energy savings. Reduce flow to cut electricity costs whilst maintaining your hobby affordably. These units adjust from minimal 1% flow (0.01x maximum) to full 100% capacity—all controlled via the supplied weatherproof external controller.
Installation flexibility is another advantage. Run these pumps submerged within your pond or externally outside it. External installations require priming beforehand.
Since no two ponds are identical, variable flow technology lets you dial performance to your specific water conditions, ensuring a thriving, healthy environment that attracts and supports pond life throughout the year.
Solids Handling Capability
All three VariPump models handle 5mm solids including sludge, grit, and accumulated debris. Integrated strainer cages prevent oversized particles and fish from entering the pump during internal use, allowing only particles up to 5mm through. This protection extends pump lifespan and maintains efficient flow rates.
Should cleaning become necessary, simply detach the strainer cage, rinse thoroughly in pond water, and remove accumulated matter.
Selecting the Right Model
This three-model range suits medium to large garden ponds. Consider maximum flow rate, head height capability, and power consumption when choosing. Specifications are detailed in the table below for easy comparison.
What's Included
These pumps arrive as standalone units. Pair them with pond filters—particularly Evolution Aqua Nexus Filters, pressurised filters, or box filters—to create a complete filtration system. Separately purchase anti-kink pond hose, hose clips, and anti-leak PTFE tape to connect and secure your setup.
