  • As a result, order fulfilment may take up to 10–14 days while we wait for our partners to ship products to us.

  • Customers will be notified if delays extend beyond this timeframe.

 

3. Shipping Methods

  • Dry Goods (ornaments, test kits, food, equipment, décor, aquariums, air pumps): Shipped via standard courier services.

  • Live Fish & Plants: Shipped using specialised handling and delivery methods to ensure welfare and compliance with U.K. animal welfare regulations.

 

4. Delivery Times

  • Estimated delivery times begin once stock has arrived from our partners.

  • Standard delivery within the U.K. typically takes 2–5 working days after dispatch.

  • Live fish and plants may require specific delivery slots to ensure safe arrival.

 

5. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on product type, weight, and delivery location.

  • Special handling fees may apply for live fish and plants.

  • There are no shipping costs if a customer is local and chooses to click and collect their item. Products coming into the store will always take 10-14 business days to arrive from our partners. Livestock options are next day click and collect, provided the customer orders before 12 pm. In both cases, customers will be emailed when their product is ready for collection in store.

 

6. Risk of Loss

  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive live shipments.

 

7. Delays & Notifications

  • While we aim to meet expected delivery times, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., supplier delays, courier issues, weather conditions) may cause delays.
